Rebranding project for legacy Bombardier sites in the UK
Alstom is a French multinational rolling stock manufacturer operating worldwide in rail transport markets, active in the fields of passenger transportation, signalling, and locomotives, with products including the AGV, TGV, Eurostar, Avelia and New Pendolino high-speed trains, in addition to suburban, regional and metro trains, and Citadis trams
In 2021 Alstom completed the acquisition of Bombardier Transportation who design and built trains at Derby, the UK’s Largest train factory and operated from 30 train services depots across the UK and Ireland to become the leading supplier of new trains and train services, and a leading signalling and rail infrastructure provider. Alstom have built, or are building, just under 40% of the UK mainline train fleet; as well as the entire fleets in service with London Underground and Dublin Luas.
Allsigns were tasked with rebranding all legacy Bombardier sites in the UK, included high level signage and monoliths through to updated safety and information signage within the sites.
The priority focus was on the 5 central sites at Derby, Crewe, Ilford, Old Oak Common and Central Rivers where the brief was to remove/replace all Bombardier branding with the new ALSTOM Corporate signage
Once this was completed we have continued to work with the client on the next phase of the project to complete all sites and supply any ongoing signage requirements.
